Mr. Symon is a Partner at Newbury, responsible for the origination, valuation, execution and monitoring of secondary investments. Prior to Newbury, Mr. Symon was a Vice President at Quilvest Private Equity, where he sourced, evaluated and executed fund investments and co-investments. Previously, Mr. Symon was a Senior Associate at Pomona Capital, where he evaluated and performed due diligence on secondary transactions. Mr. Symon began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. as an Associate in Equity Research, covering companies in the industrial and technology sectors. Mr. Symon graduated with an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and received a BA with honors from Amherst College.
